Dr. Rouzbeh Kordestani offers facelifts and other cosmetic procedures, such as those affecting eyelids, ears, and the nose. He has extensive experience working with these areas of the face to create an improved appearance as well as improved function. Each procedure is fully customized to the individual, and we will always discuss in detail the process prior to scheduling your surgical procedure. In addition to the procedures listed below, we also offer what is called a “mommy makeover” for those who wish to address post-pregnancy issues throughout the body. Facelifts, Neck Lifts, and Fat Grafting
To understand a facelift, the exact procedure involves understanding the face in three parts. The face is broken down into the upper face, the mid-face, and the lower face or neck. Each of these areas can be addressed to make someone look younger. The surgery is always tailored to the patient. Some patients have a sagging neck, while others do not. In this way, the same operation does not necessarily fit for each patient. This said, a full facelift involves operating on all three of these areas. Neck lifts are really just part of a facelift that is done on its own. All of these services are provided at our Texas Panhandle office.
Fat grafting is a technique used in a number of different cosmetic surgeries. These grafts can be used to fill the defects in some parts of the face that make the face look “old.” Areas around the mouth and nose are often good candidates for this type of procedure
Nasal, Ear, and Eyelid Surgeries
Besides facelifts, we offer other procedures at our office designed to improve the appearance of the whole head. These include nasal surgery, ear surgery, and surgery that improves the appearance of the heavy eyelids.
Many patients who come in for nasal surgery have a symptom that they hope to address, such as apnea, or shortness of breath. A rhinoplasty, or “nose job,” involves first defining the patient’s unique problem and what exactly is causing his or her difficulty. The next step is to correct this problem. As we address the functional problem, the effort will also be to give the patient the best-looking nose possible.
Otoplasty is a procedure used for patients who have irregularly shaped ears or ears that tend to be protruding. This procedure realigns the cartilage segments to change the shape of the ear or reduce the size or the angle of the ear, making it less prominent.
Eyelid surgery involves removing extra skin around the eye that tends to sag and block the visual fields. Most often patients seek help because either they are having problems with their vision or they are unhappy about the aesthetic contour of the skin around their eyes. This surgery removes some of the extra skin and makes the shape and contour around the eye more pleasant.
